I am a dedicated community leader and a strong advocate for inclusiveness. I currently serve on Bellevue’s Planning Commission. My journey has been shaped by education and experiences: I hold a bachelor's in architecture, a master’s in urban and regional planning from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from UCLA. Serving on the Planning Commission has given me firsthand insight into opportunities and challenges facing Bellevue and the need for smart, pragmatic planning focused on real solutions rather than political ideology.
Professionally, I am a Director of Product Management at Amazon, where I drive innovation and deliver data driven solutions to complex challenges. Beyond my professional life, I am deeply committed to community service. Losing a close friend to mental health struggles profoundly shaped my advocacy for greater awareness and support for this issue. As a co-founder of the Beautiful Minds Foundation, I’ve worked to advance education and mental health awareness, helping students grow both personally and professionally. My perspective is also shaped by my experience as a first-generation immigrant —I’ve seen firsthand how diversity strengthens communities. I believe in building a Bellevue that is welcoming and inclusive for all.
My greatest inspiration comes from my family—my wife, Bhavna, serves on the Bellevue Arts Commission, and our children, Saeesha and Rivaan, have benefited from the city’s outstanding public schools, parks, and recreation spaces. Together, we are committed to ensuring Bellevue remains a place where all families can thrive.
